How to Use the New Bay Bridges (1939) - Inside

Inside pages of 1939 guide pamphlet about San Francisco Bay bridges

The inside pages of the 1939 pamphlet feature a map of the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, along with a list of approaches to the bridges. At the time, most vehicular traffic on the Bay Bridge only traveled on the upper deck. The lower deck was reserved for truck and bus traffic, as well as a transbay interurban train line.
