That's a Strong Safe

The safe remains at the bank in Bodie, California

A safe embedded in a brick wall is the only part of a bank that survives at the ghost town of Bodie, now maintained as a California state park. The Bodie Bank, as it was called, survived an earlier 1892 fire but was destroyed in the 1932 fire that burned much of the town. It was robbed once, in 1916, by four men who got away with $4,000 in money and jewelry.
