Away from Rocky Canyon

California 229 is a short, nine-mile route through a remote part of San Luis Obispo County. Along the entire route, there's only one set of reassurance markers, where the road makes a turn at Rocky Canyon Road south of Creston. This marker is for southbound traffic.
