Trucking Through Alameda

California 61 is the only state highway route through Alameda. There are other major routes between the island city and Oakland, including Park Street. At the intersection of Park Street and Encinal Avenue, a sign assembly indicates that either Park or Encinal is suitable for use by large trucks. This view is east on Encinal, which carries the California 61 designation for much of its length.
