End of the Narrow Road

Only the southern end of California 229 is marked. It's also the end of a six-mile segment of the nine-mile route that's so narrow, there's no center stripe in the roadway. The southern end of Highway 229 is at California 58 about four miles northeast of Santa Margarita.
