Rosencrans Without the State Route Designation

Rosecrans Street in San Diegoused to be California 209. That route was decommissioned in either 2001 or 2003 (various sources don't seem to agree on the date). So some freeway signs now show Rosecrans without its former designation, such as the bridge-mounted sign on the right. This photo was taken in November 2007 on southbound Interstate 5 just north of the Interstate 8-Interstate 5 interchange.
