Seeing Red on MacArthur Boulevard

At first, This may seem to be on odd sign. Why wouldn't traffic stop on a red light? But in Oakland's Laurel commercial district, 38th Avenue takes a jog on MacArthur Boulevard. Thus, this sign is needed to remind traffic on MacArthur that some oncoming traffic might be coming northbound from 38th Avenue (in the distance) and will be turning north onto the other section of 38th.
