On side streets in downtown Pacific Grove, a few of the parking regulation signs have an old AAA emblem of the California State Automobile Association. The AAA once erected and maintained street and highway signs in many California locations. (Another example is in downtown Sonora.)
Even so, the font used on these signs appears remarkably new. The two-hour parking regulation sign is in nearly mint condition. One wonders how old these signs could be.
