In the northern California city of Red Bluff, Business Loop 5 is also marked as Historic US 99. These markers also try to simulate the look of button reflectors that once were used for highway signs.
This photograph was taken in September 2004 on California 36 just before it turns north to join Business Loop 5 in downtown Red Bluff.
