Into the Maze

The southeast corner of the MacArthur Maze in Oakland, California

Interstate 580 joins with Interstate 80 in the MacArthur Maze, the intersection of those routes, plus a few exits to and from city streets, in Oakland. This view is northwest into the Maze. Note the "Toll Crossing Entrance" sign on the left support for the sign assembly. That's intended to indicate that Interstate 80 westbound leads to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, which is a toll bridge.
