This is the detail map for San Diego from the 1956 official California highway map. This map was on the rear side of the map along with detail maps for other California cities. US 101 has been replaced, more or less, by Interstate 5, US 80 has similarly been replaced by Interstate 8, and US 395 is comparable to present-day Interstate 15. California 75 and California 94 are the only route numbers from 1956 that would appear on a modern map of San Diego.
