This inset map of Santa Barbara was on the back side of the 1961 official California highway map. It appears that the US 101 freeway through Santa Barbara had not yet been built. This map also clearly shows the difference between highway route numbers and legislative route numbers: California 150 is what's now California 192 (and has a legislative route number of 80) while legislative route number 150 is an entirely different route that, in the field, wouldn't have been indicated with a state route marker.
