This view is from Duboce Street eastbound toward Mission Street. South of Market Street, the Octavia Boulevard/Central Freeway project did not really result in much of an improvement for the neighborhood where Duboce and Mission intersect. In 2003 and 2004, after the old skyway went down, this area felt more "open" as it became considerably lighter and brighter. Then the new skyway was constructed.
