Oakland Tribune map with incorrect Interstate numbers

(Fair use quotation/excerpt) This map was on page 8 of the first news section of the Oakland Tribune on Friday, May 10, 2002. The artist dropped the last digit from each of the Interstate highways shown, except for Interstate 5 in California. For example, Interstate "8" is really Interstate 80, and Interstate "2" is really Interstate 25.

I believe this was not an Associated Press error but an Oakland Tribune error, since the map used the same typography that most other Tribune maps used at the time.

The text of the caption above the map also should have said "last Friday".
