The route log for US 63 from the 1928 Missouri official road map shows major points along the route between the Iowa state line north of Lancaster and the Arkansas state line south of Thayer. Mississippi River opposite Quincy, Illinois. Note that Route 4 is now US 136 and Route 80 where it intersected US 63 is now US 160.
