This scene is on the old alignment of US 60 just west of US 67, northwest of Poplar Bluff. It was recently bypassed by a new route. This segment is now a dead-end frontage road, but the old "big green sign" announcing the upcoming US 67 interchange hadn't been removed when James Baughn encountered it.
