I believe this is the only place in Missouri where two Business Loops intersect, made possible by the designation of Interstate 49 in December 2012. David Backlin took this photo on the day of I-49's official dedication, December 12, 2012, at Range Line Road and 7th Street in Joplin. Business Loop 49 replaced Business US 71, while Business Loop 44 and Missouri 66 are concurrent along 7th Street in Joplin. As the Missouri 66 designation indicates, 7th Street was once a route for US 66.
