Missouri 371's northern endpoint is at Business Loop 29 in St. Joseph. Business Loop 29 is a loop through the northwestern Missouri city's downtown area. Since downtown St. Joseph is on the west side of the city and I-29 is on the east side, the loop is quite extensive (at least 12 miles according to the official state highway map).
