The up-and-coming style (post-2000) for supplemental route markers can be compared with the previous style on Routes CC and V south of Sturgeon. The left photo shows the style that uses square markers for both single-lettered and double-lettered roads. The photo on the right shows the new style, with larger letters and a rectangular marker for roads with two letters.
Routes CC and V are multiplexed on Ogden Street in Sturgeon. Route CC parallels Missouri 22 between US 63 and Centralia.
