Preparing for an interchange with Missouri 13 that has since been completed, Route J in Ray County east of Henrietta has a directional banner on this sign assembly. Such an arrangement used to be extremely rare, but it has become more common, especially near freeway interchanges. An interchange was built at this location for the new Missouri 13, now routed in this area because of the completion of the new Lexington bridge over the Missouri River in 2005.
