Alternate Missouri 240 is a two-mile spur connecting US 40 on the south and Missouri 240 on the north. This photo shows the southern endpoint of Alternate 240, just ahead of its intersection with US 40.
As far as I've been able to determine, this is the only designated "Alternate" route remaining in Missouri.
