The Final Mile Marker

The 0.2-mile marker for southbound Interstate 229 in St. Joseph

The southeastern end of Interstate 229 is near the southeastern corner of St. Joseph. For southbound (really southeast-bound) traffic, one lane goes to northbound Interstate 29 while the other goes to southbound I-29. The only indication that you're at the end of I-229 (when this photo was taken in September 2008) is a 0.2-mile marker. There doesn't appear to be a zero-mile marker for I-229 in this direction.
