An Old Bridge Still in Use

1920s highway bridge on Missouri 240 still in use (2007)

In recent years, Missouri has been replacing old highway bridges across the Missouri River. These bridges were part of a program in the 1920s to construct bridges across the river. In 2007, one of those bridges still in use crossed the river at Glasgow. This photo shows the west side of the bridge, in Saline County on Missouri 240.

This photo was taken in October 2007.
