Marching along one after the other on the new Missouri 19 bridge across the Missouri River from the north are signs indicating entry into Hermann and Gasconade County. The bridge opened in October 2007 and is named for longtime U.S. Senator Christopher "Kit" Bond. This photo was taken about a week before the dedication ceremonies, when the bridge was already open to traffic but the pedestrian walkway was not yet done. The unusual mounting of the signs results from the placement of the walkway.
