Deep in the Bootheel, Missouri 84 connects the cities of Kennett, Hayti, and Caruthersville. Just a couple of miles ahead is the interchange with Interstate 155, which crosses the Missouri River and continues to Dyersburg, Tennessee, providing the only direct highway connection between Missouri and Tennessee.
