When button reflectors were used on Missouri freeway signs, the markers on the signs often didn't use the reflectors while the lettering did. But for this sign on US 169 southbound in Kansas City, the marker for Interstate 435 uses the reflectors while the rest of the sign doesn't -- opposite of the usual button-reflector sign configuration.
