Not sure which state you're in? During construction work on Kansas 52 in southeastern Kansas in April 2000, traffic was directed on a detour that went, in part, through Missouri on supplemental route J between Amoret and Amsterdam.
These markers indicated the start of the detour for traffic that normally would have headed west on 52 into Kansas.
The end of the detour was clearly marked four miles east of Amoret.
