In recent years, Missouri markers have been produced with larger digits and a small white margin around the edges of the sign. This photo shows both the newer-style marker, for Missouri 13, and the old-style marker for Missouri 86. Note the absence of a white margin around the edges and the smaller digits on the Missouri 86 sign.
