Because it now joins US 24 to provide access to the new Lexington Bridge, opened in 2005, Missouri 13 does not go all the way into Lexington. This exit sign on US 24 westbound indicates that Missouri 13 goes south from US 24, but not north. Unusual here is the use of a banner-style indicator for the south designation.
