In December 2007, Missouri 249 still continued eastbound on Zora Street, pending its extension farther north. It also ran concurrently with Route VV. This photo shows the newer, rectangular "wide" style marker for Route VV in the foreground, and the square marker in the background along with the trailblazer assembly for Business US 71 to the west.
