Missouri 42's eastern endpoint is at Missouri 28 about a mile south of Belle. This marker indicates that there are two ways to go, both of them on Missouri 28. The digits in the route marker seem to be spaced too closely together, something that was noticeable at several locations along Missouri 28 in Maries and Pulaski counties when I was in the area in October 2007.
