For travelers exiting from westbound Interstate 44, this exit sign provides reassurance that they're going the right way to reach US 60. Most of the length of the James River Freeway in Republic and Springfield is designated US 60. But the section of the freeway through Republic actually carries the Missouri 360 designation. That's as close as US 60 and Interstate 44 come in Missouri. The two routes eventually do cross in northeastern Oklahoma.
