As work continued on the Page Avenue extension westward from I-270 in St. Louis County in 2003, there was some question about the designation of Page Avenue east of I-270. This photo is looking east on Route 364 from River Valley Drive, about one mile east of the Missouri River. As Brian Dowd pointed out, "the sign signals the end of Route 364 in 4 miles, and should put to rest any questions on whether or not the Route 364 designation will continue east of I-270 onto the surface Route D/Page Avenue."
A Missouri River bridge for Missouri 364, extending the route into St. Charles County, was completed in 2004.
