The Maryland Heights Expressway in west St. Louis County connects Interstate 70 with Missouri 364, both of which are freeways into St. Charles County. This trailblazer is yet another example of an unusual shape for the Missouri state outline, as well as an unusual example of a marker with plenty of margin around the outline. It is probably not a MoDOT marker.
