Construction work where Missouri 27 intersects with US 61 in Clark County required a detour for US 61, providing yet another opportunity for the wrong type of route marker to be used.
In addition, this route marker uses the same type of strange Missouri state outline that also has been seen at other construction sites in northern Missouri, and that appears to be installed permanently in Liberty.
