Missouri 73 serves as a cutoff route between US 54 and the Lake of the Ozarks and US 65 to and from Springfield through Buffalo.
Notable in this photo, taken March 11, 2003, is the absence of narrow white borders for the markers. These older markers appeared to be common along US 54 in west-central Missouri.
