The western endpoint of Missouri 98 is at this intersection with Missouri 87 and Business Loop 70 east of Boonville. Missouri 98 continues to Overton, and then ends one mile north of Overton at a county road. Missouri 98 is also one of the few state routes that has retained its original route number from the 1921 Centennial Road System.
