On the north side of North Kansas City, Missouri, northbound traffic has two choices: stay on Missouri 9, going to Riverside, or stay on this roadway, which becomes Missouri 283, the North Oak Trafficway. (The "Traffic Way" spelling as two words is not common in the Kansas City area.) Either way, you'll end up back in Kansas City, because the city limit line is just north of the upcoming intersection.
