Southbound on Interstates 29 and 35 approaching downtown Kansas City, there's a choice to be made: go south and eventually east on I-70 which also can lead to southbound US 71 on Watkins Drive, or go west and possibly eventually south (it is a loop, after all!) on I-35. Interstate 29's marked endpoints are just a few hundred feet away from this point, photographed in September 2012. The 45 mph speed limit seems to be universally ignored, even though there are some tight turns that justify it.
