This stretch of road is no longer a state highway, but the markers hadn't been taken down yet in June 2003. This was the route of Missouri 248 just west of US 60 near Reeds Spring Junction. This alignment was replaced when Missouri 13 was re-routed, with a new segment of highway constructed. However, for a brief period of time after Missouri 13 was re-routed in November 2002, it also ran along this segment until the new Missouri 13 was opened a few months later.
