When a new section of US 71 opened in Pineville in August 2007, Business US 71 was re-routed as well. Instead of using a Business banner for the business route, stick-on letters were used instead (close-up, left). That was probably a temporary measure.
Pineville is just a few miles from the Arkansas border in McDonald County. This photo was taken on southbound Business US 71 (the former route of US 71) at Route H.
