With construction work on Old 63, now a city street in Columbia, Missouri, its old designation of Business 63 was revived for detour signs. Some of these signs even made it out to the US 63 freeway along the east side of the city.
This photo was taken in September 2002 near Old 63 South and Stadium Boulevard. A similar sign was on US 63 just south of Columbia. Along city streets, Missouri 740, and US 63, there were frequent detour markers as well. One can also be seen in the distance in this photo.
