Is there a community named Route? Not to my knowledge, but these signs for Route M at the US 63 freeway in Moberly seemed to indicate such a thing. Normally on Missouri freeways, if the road at an interchange doesn't go to any community, only the marker for the route is shown on the exit signs.
These photos were taken in July 2002. At that time, the Route M exit was open only for southbound traffic from US 63.
