For a couple of years, there was an unusual trailblazer for Missouri 94 on a St. Peters city street. The outline was somewhat more detailed than a typical Missouri marker outline. And the number on the marker was not centered within the outline!
Rich Piehl, who found this marker, speculated that might have been a marker erected by the city of St. Peters. As he put it, "it's in kind of an odd location, which may account for its odd look." The marker was on Mexico Road at Mid-Rivers Mall Drive. It was removed in 2003 when that intersection was widened and rebuilt.
A different but equally odd marker is on Missouri 152 in Liberty.
