Here's an unusually pointed shield for Interstate 70 in St. Peters. Rich Piehl explains, "I'm certain it was put up by St. Peters as they have them along Mexico Road at the intersection of every street that has an I-70 on ramp. [Mexico Road is a major east-west route through St. Peters.] But there are none west of the St. Peters on Mexico Road. There's even one street that's right on the St. Peters/O'Fallon line (Belleau Creek Road) that if you are heading west on Mexico Road they have one of the I-70 shields, but if you are heading east out of O'Fallon there isn't one."
