Cutout-style US markers used to be common at Missouri freeway interchanges, but they were phased out in the 1980s. Still, Joe Reda found this one in Eureka, probably along Missouri 109 -- in 1997.
The accompanying marker for Interstate 44 also had been there a while, judging by the faded colors on the marker.
