One of Springfield's major arterial routes, Glenstone Avenue, meets with the James River Freeway (US 60) at this interchange on the southeast side of the city. Glenstone is designated as Business US 65 south of the Chestnut Expressway (about six miles north of this interchange), and Business Loop 44 north of Chestnut.
