Missouri 13 was re-routed between Springfield and Reeds Spring in November 2002. Most of the new route follows US 160. As a result, signs along the relatively new James River Freeway in Springfield became out-of-date. This sign, at the freeway and Campbell Avenue, is one example of how signage on an approach to the freeway has been handled as a result of the re-routing.
