At first glance, this assembly on Route AM near Willow Springs doesn't appear so unusual. If you look closely, though, the directional banners have been omitted, making it appear as if the route is going in two directions at once. Because it's a divided highway, that's not such a big problem. But the usual practice at divided highways in Missouri is to use a directional banner to indicate the direction of each track of the divided highway.
