At the intersection of US 69 and Missouri 6 west of Altamont, there are additional trailblazers for Interstate 35. US 69 on its own leads to southbound Interstate 35 four miles away; US 69 and Missouri 6 concurrently lead to northbound Interstate 35 three miles away. Interstate 35 cuts a diagonal route through the area, meaning that the closest way to I-35 depends upon which direction you want to go.
